The crown jewel of Hillsdale College, Central Hall towers above the campus and surrounding area as the enduring symbol of the College. It stands on the site of the original college building, a multi-winged structure constructed in 1853.
In March of 1874, a fire destroyed two-thirds of that building. Hillsdale’s students, faculty, and supporters rallied together and pressed forward with plans to replace that which was lost. Just five months later, the College laid the cornerstone for Central Hall, and it was completed the following year. A Bible placed inside the cornerstone bears the following prayer: “May earth be better and heaven be richer because of the life and labor of Hillsdale College.”

Just recently his photography was featured on the cover of the best selling paperback by Jonathan Rosen called "The Best Minds" published by Penguin Random House. Last year my backyard was blessed with some of the cutest tree frogs ever. Please excuse the number of photos of them in my frogs and toads collection but I couldn't help myself.
